Mr McGhee appears regularly at local courts, particuarly Kilmarnock, Irvine, Ayr; this means that he has strong working relationships with, and holds the respect of, many Sheriffs and Justices of the Peace. He also enjoys a healthy professional relationship with the many local Procurator Fiscals and their Deputes. Such relationships have been built up over many years and the mutual trust and respect built facilitates discussion, negotiation where appropriate, and resolution for our clients.

Philosophy

We appreciate that being interviewed by the Police and/or facing a criminal court appearance can be a traumatic and, for many, an unfamiliar experience. That is why we offer a personal and attentive, yet professional service. We ensure that our clients understand what is happening in their case and take great care to explain their rights and choices as clearly and simply as possible.

Legal Aid

We are pleased to offer Criminal Legal Aid. We appreciate that many clients are unable to fund their defence without causing hardship to themselves or their family.
